Glede tekme v Lienzu lahko potrdim kar je zapisal Špik, da namreč tekmo izvajajo na dve leti in rotirajo s Semmeringom. Samo največji med največjimi avstrijskimi organizatorji (npr. Solden, Kitzbuhel ali Schladming) so si zagotovili vsakoletno izvedbo tekem, ostali se menjujejo na dve leti. Glede na to koliko je v Avstriji smučarskih centrov ki se trudijo dobiti tekmo svetovnega pokala, se mi to zdi dobra rešitev - tudi tekma vsako drugo leto pripomore k promociji smučišča.
Kas se tiče žičnic na Hochsteinu: seveda se gradnja financira z javnimi denarji, v glavnem od občine Lienz. Smučišče s tistimi nekaj fanatiki ki tam smučajo pomoje komaj piše črno ničlo. Izdelanih je bilo več projektov za zamenjavo vseh treh žičnic (najbolj optimistična varianta je predvidevala osemsedežno kabinsko žičnico na 1. in 2. odseku ter šestsedežnico na tretjem), zaenkrat je pač bil na vrsti prvi odsek, ki ga potrebujejo tudi za tekme. Če pa bo župan razvezal mošnjiček  , pa bosta enkrat sledila tudi naslednja dva odseka.

S tem je v Avstriji vsaj začela obratovati še predzadnja nova žičnica letošnje smučarske sezone. Na zagon čakata le še novi napravi na zgornjeavstrijskem Feuerkoglu, ki sta sicer že gotovi, vendar ni snega. Ne bi rad še tukaj začel - navsezadnje se že celo poletje in jesen derem po Alpinforumu da investitor ki gre danes graditi dve novi napravi na višini med 1200 in 1600 m brez zasneževanja, ne more biti povsem pri sebi. No, pa imajo ... 
Zgleda lepo, deluje pa le babylift z modro progo pri zgornji postaji  :

Ja, dobro vprašanje kje sem našel ta podatek: ko sem pisal svoj prispevek je tako pisalo na njihovi spletni strani, trenutno pa tam spet piše '6er-Sesselbahn SKYLINER in Betrieb!! Viel Spaß!'. Zgleda da je šlo za neko malenkost .

Še ena novica iz Vzhodne Tirolske, smučišče Brunalm-St.Jakob, je v bankrotu. Začenja se borba za nakup smučišča med dvema največjima ski-poslovnežema v teh krajih, Antonom Pletzerjem (Brixental) in Heinzom Schultzom (Zillertal,Kals-Matrei,Mölltal). Postaja kar dramatično, menda je 8 milijonov dolga za poplačat. Kaj pa to pomeni trenutno za smučarje, mi pa ni čisto jasno. Upam, da bo na koncu zgrajeno kaj novih naprav na tem lepem smučišču.

Ne vem kam bi uvrstila to vprašanje.
Poznavalci pa boste verjetno poznali odgovor.
Zanima me prijazno smučišče, ne preveliko, kjer lahko smučamo z mlajšimi otroki in je cena karte sprejemljiva.
Glavni faktor pa je seveda, da je kar blizu meje in ne predaleč od Maribora, recimo do ure in pol vožnje.
