Vadba naj bo premišljena in dobro načrtovana, pretiravanje pa vsekakor ni zaželeno. Strokovnjaki priporočajo, da za osnovno kondicijsko pripravo potrebujemo vsaj šest tednov vadbe, ki jo redno izvajamo od tri do šestkrat tedensko. Vadba naj vključuje aerobni del (tek, hoja, kolesarjenje...) in del, kjer se intenzivneje posvetimo posameznim mišičnim skupinam (stegenske mišice, mišice meč, mišice trupa...).&lt;br /&gt;
Z dobro fizično pripravo, bo izkoristek smučarskega dneva veliko boljši, predstavlja pa tudi dobro preventivo pred poškodbami.&lt;br /&gt;
